The Mid Warwickshire Branch of Cats Protection is promising an afternoon of fun and entertainment for all at their annual Spring Fayre which is taking place on
Saturday 14 April from 1.30 – 3.30 pm
at the All Saints Church Contact Centre, Vicarage Field, Warwick CV34 5NJ
Books, toys, crafts, homemade cakes, bric-a-brac and Cats Protection merchandise will be on sale to raise funds for Cats Protection’s Mid Warwickshire Branch. Other diversions on offer include a tombola, raffle draw and of course, a chance to sit down and partake of refreshments, cake and a chance to discuss all things cat related with the Branch volunteers.
Entrance is £1 (or a bag of donated clothes or bric-a-brac for our charity shop). All money raised from the event goes directly towards paying vet bills and food for the many cats that are currently in our care.
The Branch’s mascot, Big Paw, will open the event at 1.30 pm.
More than £500 was raised for Mid Warwickshire Cats Protection Branch at last year’s Spring Fayre and event organisers hope that next Saturday’s total will exceed this amount.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Fayre next weekend. As a popular fixture in the Mid Warwickshire events calendar, it promises to be fun for all ages and we hope that everyone will have a good time!” said Chris Osborne, co-ordinator of the Branch.
“We need a constant supply of cat products and any other items to sell for future fundraising events - help from the public would be much appreciated. Please contact us on our helpline 01926 334849 if you need more information.”
